Call for Nominations to the Board of Directors

With the 2023 AGM fast approaching on March 29 at MR MIKES SteakhouseCasual we are calling for nominations to our Board of Directors.

We have room for 9 Directors plus our Executive made up of the President and Vice-President, this means that currently, we have room for 5 more Directors. With your voice from the business community, we become more effective as a Chamber with a clearer understanding of our local needs and a broader outreach.

You are required to be a member in good standing with the High River Chamber of Commerce however, you do not need to be the business owner. You could be an employee from the Member Business as appointed to represent that business.

If you are a proactive thinker, have creative ideas and are ready to volunteer between 2 to 5 hours a month in an effort to provide knowledge, support and networking opportunities to our local businesses then this is the role for you.

We meet once a month at noon on the 2nd Tuesday of every month, excluding July and August and have our casual Monthly Mingles on the last Wednesday of each month excluding December, July and August. Outside of these networking events, any additional commitment could be to a subcommittee or other community support as needs arise.
